The Heber Parents and Friends (Heber P&F) is a registered charity, run by volunteers, with the aim of creating community spirit and helping the school by contributing funds for essential upgrades to equipment and for social events for all the children.
We met our fundraising target for 2020-2021, and will donate £30,000 to the School to fund the refurbishment of the Crystal Palace Playground. In 2019-2020, we raised £35,000 which exceeded our target by £10,000. We have donated £25,000 towards Heber's new Computing Suite and an additional £2,500 for spending on SEN refurbishment and facilities. We also met the full cost of yearbooks for year 6 students (£1,107), a contribution towards year 6 hoodies (£167) and various gardening expenses for the school site.
The school has not yet announced the fundraising priority for 2021-2022, but this will be announced by the new committee very shortly.
There are many ways to support the P&F that can fit around existing family commitments. From buying a 50p cake at a bake sale, attending one of our events, or volunteering your time to help the P&F. We hope there is an option to suit everyone. If you like to be involved and make a difference to the school and its community, speak to your class rep or email us at Heberpandf@gmail.com.
Usually, we have an exciting line-up of social events for adults and children. This year, we might run more online events. You can find all the details here and don’t forget to save the dates in your diary.
You can raise money just by doing your regular shopping! Sign-up for EasyFundraising.org.uk and raise money for the school without costing you a penny. Find out more about how to do this, or how to give a donation directly to the P&F here
